Introduction

In order to maximise impact, Crisis Action focuses on a small number of conflict-related crises. We typically coordinate three or four ongoing campaigns as well as launching emergency responses to quick onset crises. We choose the conflicts on which we campaign in consultation with our partners and according to where we think we can help convince governments to take action that will make the biggest possible difference for civilians on the ground. For information on how Crisis Action tracks the impact of the joint campaigns it facilitates, please see the Center for Evaluation Innovation’s report which features Crisis Action as one of three case studies profiling the use of monitoring and evaluation tools by human rights organisations.
